Order Processing & Freshly Prepared Products

All Hair Truly products are freshly prepared in small batches to preserve ingredient integrity, reduce unnecessary waste, and ensure optimal product quality.

Please allow [3-5 business days] for order processing prior to shipment. Processing time does not include carrier transit time.

Because products are freshly prepared, natural butters may continue to settle after production. This is normal and does not affect product quality or performance.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Timeframes

Shipping timelines provided at checkout are carrier estimates only and do not include order processing time.

Hair Truly is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

  • carrier service disruptions

  • weather conditions

  • incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at checkout

Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, responsibility for transit timing rests with the carrier.

Warm Weather Shipping (Spring & Summer)

Shea Complete contains natural butters and oils that may soften or melt during warm weather transit. This behavior is expected for natural formulations and does not indicate damage, spoilage, or reduced effectiveness.

If your product arrives soft or melted:

  • Allow it to rest undisturbed at room temperature, or

  • Refrigerate briefly to re-set, if preferred

Texture changes due to heat exposure are not considered product defects.

Cold Weather Shipping (Fall & Winter)

During cold weather, Shea Complete may firm or harden while in transit. This is normal and temporary.

If your product arrives firm:

  • Allow it to return to room temperature before use

Cold-related texture changes are not considered defects and do not impact product quality or safety.

Temperature Exposure Disclaimer

Hair Truly products are formulated without synthetic stabilizers and are shipped without artificial temperature control.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

  • Seasonal temperature exposure may affect product texture

  • Texture variation does not indicate contamination, spoilage, or reduced efficacy

Shipping Holds During Extreme Weather

To protect product quality, Hair Truly reserves the right to delay shipment during periods of extreme heat or cold. If a delay occurs, customers will be notified prior to shipment.

Returns, Refunds & Weather-Related Claims

Due to the personal care nature of our products and their freshly prepared status:

  • Returns or refunds are not accepted for texture changes caused by temperature exposure

  • Melted, softened, firm, or re-set products are not considered defective

If your order arrives incorrect or physically damaged, please contact us within [30] days of delivery with clear photos of the issue so we may assist. See Refund Policy.

Delivery Responsibility

Hair Truly is not responsible for packages left unattended, delivered to mailboxes, porches, or areas exposed to heat, cold, or weather conditions.

Customers are responsible for retrieving delivered packages promptly.
